Our Facilities

CCVI is located on the Children's Center Campus at 3101 Main Street in midtown Kansas City, Missouri.

In January 1999, a dream came true as we moved into our own home at the $11.6 million Children's Center Campus, a collaborative effort of three not-for-profit agencies. CCVI and Children's TLC serve children with disabilities, while the YMCA Early Learning Center provides childcare services for young children with and without disabilities.

Each agency remains separate and autonomous, but together we share a playground, cafeteria, gyms, therapy pool and meeting rooms, as well as a building manager, cook and custodial crew.

CCVI has five preschool and kindergarten classrooms, each with an observation room; an Infant Program room; spaces for speech, occupational and physical therapies, for assistive technology and for braille; and a family meeting room and staff offices.

Did you know …

Our major fundraising event, the annual Sabates Eye Centers Trolley Run, is the largest four-mile run/walk in the U.S. with more than 10,000 adults and children participating! More than 800 volunteers work on the run, some year-round. Since 1989, the Trolley Run has raised more than $2.5 million for CCVI.
