Preschool & Kindergarten

CCVI's preschool and kindergarten classes are for children ages two through six and are designed to enhance basic skills while preparing children for inclusion in public or private elementary schools. We offer morning and afternoon half-day and one full-day preschool classes, which are held Monday through Thursday. Full-day kindergarten classes are held Monday through Friday.
A typical morning for Preschool I, II or III

| 9:00–9:30 a.m. | Opening: morning song, calendar Recite: days of the week, months of the year, colors, alphabet, name, birthday, story |
| 9:30–10:00 a.m. | Individual work activities |

| 10:30–11:00 a.m. | Monday: recess Tuesday: art or cooking Wednesday: computer Thursday: social group activity/game |
| 11:00–11:20 a.m. | Monday: music Tuesday: recess Wednesday: recess Thursday: recess |
| 11:20–11:30 a.m. | Bathroom/ready for home or lunch |
